Two hundred thousand Belgraders turn out for Kostunica BELGRADE, Wednesday -- About 200,000 people gathered in front of the Yugoslav Parliament tonight to greet opposition presidential candidate Vojislav Kostunica with huge applause.
"I am an ordinary man and I don't want to change the world. I want, together with you to change this country. I know that you want to live in an ordinary, normal, democratic European country," he told the crowd.
When the sound system began behaving erratically during part of the entertainment at the rally, the assembled supporters shouted "Red Gang!" and "Save Serbia from this madhouse, Kostunica!"
