Opposition calls for civil disobedience BELGRADE, Wednesday, 15:38 - Representatives of the most important parties in Serbia called on the citizens of Belgrade to gather in front of the city hall at 7pm to protest against the Nationalisation of Studio B. A statement from today's emergency meeting of opposition leaders said that all opposition-governed municipalities and cities will call emergency sessions tomorrow, to discuss "Stop the Terror". After these meetings local government representatives will join members of the public for a protest.
The opposition called on the citizens of Serbia to show the Regime their disapproval of the regime's acts by blocking roads, organising walks, striking, and to defend the remaining independent media. "The government's decisions have lead this country into an open dictatorship. We must confront this violence immediately and with all our strength, because our future and the future of this country is at stake."
