RADIO TELEVISION SERBIA ATTACKS MONTENEGRIN PRIME MINISTER
    DJUKANOVIC

On Saturday, state-controlled Radio Television Serbia (RTS)
accused the Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic of
destabilizing Serbia and ``collaborating with those who have tried
to topple the government in Belgrade.'' During the main news
bulletin in the evening Mr. Djukanovic was also labelled
``arrogant and aloof'' and accused of being an agent of Milan
Panic (Serbian-born American, former Prime Minister of
    Yugoslavia).

RTS, referring to an earlier interview Mr. Djukanovic gave Serbian
independent weekly ``Vreme,'' RTS commented: ``In his interview
with one Belgrade pro-oppositon weekly Mr. Djukanovic attacked the
coalition partner of the very party that brought him to power.
Even more important are his reasons for that attack. For months
now he has been working hand in glove with those who tried,
fortunately unsuccessfully, to topple the government in Belgrade
    and destabilize Serbia.''

In the ``Vreme'' interview Mr. Djukanovic had said: ``Slobodan
Milosevic is way behind his time as a politician, lacking any
strategy to meet the challenges that face his country,'' and that
``it would be a political mistake if Mr. Milosevic were to retain
    any political position in Yugoslavia.''

    INITIATIVE TO BOYCOT TV SUBSCRIPTION

On Saturday the Association of Free Cities and Constituencies of
Serbia voted unanimously to accept the initiative of the city of
Kragujevac to boycot the obligatory subscription to state TV (RTS)
included in electricity bills, FoNet reported. The Association
includes all those cities and constituencies where the opposition
won at local elections last November.

    STUDENTS MARCH

On Saturday about 15,000 Belgrade University students marched for
the 93rd straight day to the heart of Novi Beograd -- a Belgrade
suburb where Zajedno won the majority in local elections last
November but which was omitted from the mission report of the
Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), BETA
reported. More than 1,000 citizens of Novi Beograd joined the
    students.

SERBIAN RENEWAL MOVEMENT SUPPORT TEACHERS STRIKE

On Saturday Zajedno coalition member -- The Serbian Renewal
Movement -- gave official support to striking teachers in Serbia
and demanded that the Serbian government meet teachers' demands
    ``immediately.''

    AGREEMENT OF TWO OPPOSITION COALITIONS

    Members of ``Narodna Sloga'' (People's Unity), Montenegro's
strongest opposition coalition, attended the founding session of
Belgrade City Assembly on Friday, Montena-fax reported.

After the session Zajedno and Narodna Sloga signed an agreement on
further cooperation. According to Narodna Sloga, the main aims of
the alliance are to free the media and further democratic reform.

    GROWING VIOLENCE IN KOSOVO?

The ``National Movement for the Liberation of Kosovo,'' called all
Albanians to join in ``an armed uprising to free Kosovo from
Serbian occupiers,'' in a party newsletter delivered to several
news organisations in Pristina, Kosovo's main city, BETA reported.
The organization also critisized the policy of the leaders of
Kosovian Albanians, especially Ibrahim Rugova, for their
``pacificism which was in the interest of Serbia.''
