    MONTENEGRO

Montengrin trade representative in the US Ratko Knezevic on
Wednesday made the following statement about the alleged letter
from Montengrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic to two US
    congressmen:

``I first saw the letter yesterday when we received a fax of what
Politika published. Mr Djukanovic's signature on the letter is
false. I can take full responsibility for that claim: the
signature is absolutely a forgery. In addition, the letterhead
consists only of the Montengrin coat of arms, and neither this
office, nor the Government of Montenegro nor the Office of the
Prime Minister uses such a letterhead.''

    US CONGRESSMEN DENIES RECEIVING LETTER

US Congressman Nick Rachel on Wednesday officially denied
receiving the letter published in Belgrade daily Politika. The
letter was published under the headline ``Milo Djukanovic
Continues to Destroy Yugoslavia and Serbia.'' Mr Rachel also said
that Mr Djukanovic, during their meetings in Podgorica and
Washington had never suggested that Montenegro intended to secede
    from Yugoslavia.

Jacques Klein, will talk to Serbian President, Slobodan Milosevic
in Belgrade on Thursday. The mayor of Vukovar, Miroslav Keravica,

    CROAT WAR CRIMES LIST

Wednesday's issue of the Croatian daily Vjesnik says that Goran
Hadzic, Slavko Dokmanovic and a number of other Slavonian Serb
officials are on the list of 150 Serbs accused of war crimes by
    the Croatian Government.
