  20  RESHUFFLE OF MONTENEGRIN GOVERNMENT MORE COMPREHENSIVE?

      A new session of the Executive Committee of the Democratic
      Socialist Party of Montenegro will be held on Thursday evening,
      FoNet reports. Prime Minister, Milo Djukanovic allegedly has
      accepted the demands of the party's Main Board, which means that
  25  several Ministers will be dismissed from their positions. However,
      although Montenegrin President Monir Bulatovic has demanded a new
      session of the parliament, it is almost certain that the
      Parliament Speaker, Svetozar Marovic, will ignore the demand,


      SPO: APPOINTMENT OF BALSA GOVEDARICA SCANDALOUS

  30  Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) on Wednesday stated that the
      appointment of the acting President of the Serbian Supreme Court,
      Balsa Govedarica, for the new Chairman of thr Electoral
      Commission, was scandalous and represented direct message to the
      international community that the Gonzalez's report would not be
  35  respected. Regime retained its anti-democratic position, which is
      tragic for the citizens and the country, stated the SPO.


      DSS ON STOJISIC AND ELECTIONS

      Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) on Wednesday said that the
      Serbian authorities had behaved irresponsibly concerning the
  40  assassination of the Deputy Interior Minister, Radovan Stojisic.
      ``In a democratic country, in a situation like this, politicians'
      resignations would fly all around. The Serbian President uses
      every occasion to talk about the fight against the criminals, but
      criminal activities keep flourishing,'' said the DSS. As for the
  45  forthcoming elections and possible joining of the Zajedno
      coalition, the DSS announced that the views on Zajedno expansion
      were ``absolutely contradictory'' within the Coalition itself. The
      DSS stressed that, while some people spent their time making a
      broad opposition front, the authorities had appointed Balsa
  50  Govedarica as the Chairman of the Electoral Commision, although he
      was the central person involved in the election fraud.


      USA ON BOSNIA: SINGLE CURRENCY STEP TOWARDS UNITED COUNTRY

      USA officialy stated on Wednesday that the decision of the
      Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on the introduction of
  55  a single currency for whole country was an important step towards
      the omplementation of the Dayton Agreement and support for the
      building of a united state of the BiH.  The State Department said
      that now that the unified means of trading and financial
      transactions existed, and that it was the method supported by the
  60  international community. ``


      VECERNJE NOVOSTI: BLUE PASSPORT READY

      Wednesday's issue of the state daily Vecernje Novosti says that
      the new Yugoslav passports, in blue colour, were ready. According
      to the report, issuing of the new passports would be conducted in
  65  the country and in embassies abroad, simultaneously.
