Slobodan Milosevic has again proven today that he cannot be trusted. His
promise, given to foreign diplomats, that he would not use force against
peaceful demonstrators, proved false.
Today riot police have beaten up more than fifty Belgrade
demonstrators.
Yesterday s beating of demonstrators in Valjevo and Kraljevo, as well as
today s in Belgrade shows, that instead of good will, Milosevic has
nothing left to offer to Serbian people but violence and police clubs.
