DOS plans mass national protests in Belgrade

BELGRADE, Tuesday – The Democratic Opposition of Serbia today called on all Belgraders to rally in the centre tomorrow to hear plans for protests by the whole of Serbia. DOS representative Cedomir Jovanovic announced that the blockade of Belgrade would be further intensified tomorrow and that on Thursday the blockade would culminate when protesters from throughout the country would converge on the capital.

“With the mass protest of all citizens defending Vojislav Kostunica’s election we shall unite all forces in order to finish the job we began on September 24 and change Serbia,” said Jovanovic.
