Federal Parliament to sit tomorrow BELGRADE, Friday -- The founding session of the new Federal Parliament will be held tomorrow afternoon and is to be convened by the presidents of both chambers, DOS leader Dragoljub Micunovic said today.
Under the Parliament's rules, the first session of a new lower house is normally convened by the former president of that house, in this case, senior Socialist Party official Milomir Minic. Micunovic told Beta that if Minic failed to convene the house in time, somebody would replace him.
Tomorrow's session will verify the seats of the federal representatives, and elect presidents and vice-presidents of both houses. The president of Yugoslavia will also be sworn in, said Micunovic.
