Serbia on fire Almost every major city in Serbia has been forced to a stop after thousands of citizens blocked the main streets and roads this morning.
The center of third largest Yugoslav city - Nis - has been blocked all morning by highschool children, who brought benches from a pedestrian zone near by. The workers of several Nis factories joined them around 10 a.m.
Several thousand workers gathered at the center of Kragujevac awaiting for the beginning of opposition rally.
The citizens of Cacak blocked the Ibar Road, the main road to southern Serbia, at 5 a.m. this morning. This whole city is on strike with two opposition rallies being held today - at 12:00 and 20:00 hrs.
