[Duurzaamlijst] studies on human behaviour, request

Hi,

we're planning a meeting on sustainable waste next year.
One of the topics could be: why do people participate on recycling and why
don't they?"
Is anybody familiar with (sociological) studies on this subject. As well
European as internation surveys are welcome.
